Hey everyone! I wanted to write this post for many of you that have been suffering from Arca.Live's message that restricts some users based on on country location.
You are seeing this error because your country has decided to block Arca.Live. Currently, people from the following countries will see this error:
- United States of America (this country recently blocked Arca.Live)
- Republic of China and affiliates
- Republic of Korea (South Korea)
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- Russia
So what are the solutions?
There are two solutions to resolve this issue:
Get a VPN and change your country. Unfortunately, this solution is not viable for most people because you need to pay for a VPN. But if you already have a VPN for other reasons then this is a viable solution.
Make an Arca account and change your country in the settings. This solution is easy because anyone can make an account and it's free. The only hurdle is navigating through the site. You can use Chrome's built in translator to navigate but I will provide instructions below with translation for those that don't use Chrome or have some sort of translator.
AND THAT'S IT! Once you change your country and save it, you should have access. Remember NOT to use the following countries:
- United States of America (this country recently blocked Arca.Live)
- Republic of China and affiliates
- Republic of Korea (South Korea)
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- Russia
Can't seem to be able to change country settings. Tried in Mozilla and Edge. Does this require Chrome or something?

I can't register on Arca. As soon as I enter my email address (Gmail) and go through the captcha. After this a 400 error occurs (This email address is invalid)
I've already tried all the countries available on my VPN, but that hasn't changed the situation. Has Gmail stopped working too?
Taiwan is also blocked by acra, the solution is connect it via VPN or use vpn in Opera browser. (Though there's some concern about opera after being purchased by some china company) And "People's Republic of China" (China) maybe blocked as well, either by acra or it's own GFW , not sure.
Welp ... , Is it blocked by Republic of China(Taiwan) or People's Repulic of China (PRC)?
Because I can certainly see some categories' contents, and some cant see.
